HiFiMan Edition X V2 Planar Magnetic Headphones

Hifiman’s Edition X V2’s ultra thin diaphragm allows lightning fast response, uncanny detail and ultra low distortion. It is a highly sensitive headphone which allows user with virtually any smartphone or portable audio device to drive the headphone with low distortion and amazing sound quality. It has a window shade grill design that greatly reduces sonic reflections for clearer sound. The Edition X’s lightweight and ergonomic headband together with the asymmetrical ear cups that follows the natural shape of the human ear allows for a better fit, thus resulting into an improved sound and comfort for longer term listening. The user-replaceable connector design allows easy switching or replacement to other cables.

The new Edition X V2 has undergone several styling and mechanical enhancements that substantially improve its appearance, durability and comfort. It has an improved headband design that will accommodate a wider range of head sizes. The previously plastic yoke of the headphones are now metal to help increase stability and durability. The ear pads are now thicker with a larger asymmetrical angle. The newly updated Edition X V2 also changes the ear pad surface that makes contact with the head. This material had been changed from Velour to Polyester to increase sound transparency. The surrounding pleather material has not been altered.
