Astell & Kern AK70 High-Res Portable Media Player

The AK 70 High definition Digital Music Player is the latest entry level DAP from Astell&Kern's lineup. It is the first music player from the house of Astell&Kern to offer both USB connectivity and optical line-out. The USB port allows you to connect the AK70 to a PC device that enables to bypass the internal sound card enabling the computer to produce high-resolution audio; while the optical line-out lets you listen to high resolution audio through your preferred DAC if you wish. 

The AK70 uses a Cirrus Logic CS4398 DAC chipset that offers support to high-res playback of 24 bit/192kHz and up to 32 bit/384kHz through down sampling using a simple rate converter. The Hi-Res player features a 64GB inbuilt memory, while the microSD card supports up to 200GB.

The 3.3 Inch WVGA LCD Touch screen enables you to experience an easy to use interface. Its sleek anodized aluminium body along with its volume knob is smooth, reeking luxury, something that has come to define Astell&Kern over the years.  The AK70’s features a best-in-class 2,200 mAH 3.7V Li-Polymer Battery. It also comes with a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth feature, so you can stream tracks from your computer or Mac that have been connected to the same network.
