The R-112SW features spun-copper Cerametallic woofers that are light but rigid, providing low-frequency response with minimal cone-breakup and distortion. To blend the low-frequency tones of the subwoofer with other Klipsch speakers, it has low pass crossover and phase control while its all-digital amplifier delivers sufficient power with high efficiency and accurate reproduction. The subwoofer is also designed to be front-firing and allows for flexibility in placement and has exclusive internal geometry that minimises port noise. A strong, flexible and removable grille is also provided to add a redefined look that is acoustically transparent.
With the WA-2 Wireless Subwoofer Kit, the R-112SW can be used wireless.
The R-112SW is also available in a smaller size, the R-110SW.
