M-Audio BX5 D3 Powered Studio Reference Monitor (Single)

The BX5 D3 guarantees surgical detail where everything will be heard in lifelike detail to produce mixes and recording of the best sounding quality. It has rigid but lightweight military-grade Kevlar® woofers that aside from delivering exceptional transient response also negates unwanted cone breakup. On the other hand, a treated silk dome tweeter lets a low mass and the absence of audible resonances combine perfectly. These drivers together create a sound with critical detail and dynamic accuracy.

Meanwhile, the BX5 D3’s rear-mounted bass port was meticulously engineered to produce bass response that is not only deep and defined but also have maximum bass extension and resolution. On its front panel, a smooth “fastenerless” designed can be observed that ensures no interferences from screw heads will happen while an LED shines brightly when positioned in the perfect listening spot.

The BX5 D3 also feature a bi-amplified design that power the woofer and tweeter separately for a performance that complements the characteristics of its companion driver. Additionally, an Acoustic Space control allows for the adjustment of the monitor’s sound output with regards to the studio space for a tailor made sound.  The monitor also provides convenience with its XLR and ¼ inch (6.35mm) balanced inputs to connect to most studio equipment.
